PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent herein not to interfere in the money transaction and consequently not to harass the petitioners on the guise of the enquiry in pursuance to the complaint lodged by the respondents Nos.4 & 5.

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of an enquiry on a representation allegedly given by the respondents 3 & 4.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioners have borrowed some money from the respondents 3 & 4 and subsequently repaid the same, however, on the strength of the false complaint given by the respondents 3 & 4, the respondents 1 & 2 harassed the petitioners, therefore, they sought for suitable directions.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submitted that the representation given by the respondents 3 & 4 was registered in C.S.R.No.305 of 2023, dated 15.07.2023 and an enquiry is pending and they will complete the enquiry in short time.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) and perusal of the documents filed before this Court, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the respondents 1 & 2 to dispose of the representation of the respondents 3 & 4 filed against the petitioner, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
