PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondent No.1 to 3 to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members life and liberty from the respondent No.4 to 6 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2023 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

For Petitioner : Mr.R.Alagumani For R1 to R3 : Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh Government Advocate (Crl.side) O RDER This petition is filed seeking police protection to the petitioner basing on the representation given by the petitioner dated 13.02.2023. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel that the petitioner's sister has married the respondent No.6 and though there were disputes between the petitioner's sister and the respondent No.6, subsequently both of them are living together. However, there are issues between both families and a case has been registered against the respondent No.6 on a complaint given by the petitioner for the offences under Sections 294(b), 324, 307 and 506(ii) IPC and after obtaining the bail, the respondent No.6 has been threatening the petitioner with dire consequences, thereby this petition has been filed. 2/5

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that basing on the representation of the petitioner, the respondent No.6 was given severe warning by the police not to give any sort of threat to the petitioner and accordingly, the said representation has been closed. It is submitted further that in case if the respondent No.6 makes any attempt to intimidate the petitioner, the respondent police will take appropriate action against the respondent No.6 basing on a complaint to be given by the petitioner. 4.By recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Petition is closed.
