This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to give permission and necessary protection to conduct Kabadi competition on 23.10.2021 and 24.10.2021 in Alavanthannallur, Malliampathu, Trichy District.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the matter has become infructuous since the scheduled date is already over.

3.Let the learned Government shall verify whether the restrictions imposed by the Government due to COVID-19 have been lifted recently. If so, the petitioner is at liberty to file fresh representation.
