JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.) This Criminal Appeal is filed against the conviction and sentence passed by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Dindigul, in S.C.No.21 of 2025 dated 03.06.2025.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent stating that the appellant died on 08.01.2016 and he has also produced the postmortem examination report of the appellant to that effect.

3.In view of the above submission, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated.
