This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to conduct proper enquiry and to take suitable action on the petitioner's complaint dated 28.07.2022 pending on his file within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), appearing for the respondent police.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl. side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the complaint is pertaining to job racketing. It is alleged that the petitioner gave a sum of Rs.5 lakhs to one Yoganand and now he died. He further submitted that, at present the petitioner gave a complaint against his wife and other relatives. On 08.08.2022, the respondent police has conducted enquiry and they found that his wife and other relatives are not having knowledge about receiving of the amount of Rs.5 lakhs from the petitioner and they never connected with 2/4

the alleged act of the deceased. Under these circumstances, the respondent police has closed the enquiry. The statement is recorded.

4. Recording the same, this writ petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate action upon the closure report. No Cost.
