This writ petition is filed to direct the respondent to grant 15 days emergency leave to the petitioner's husband without escort, who is now confined at Central Prison, Palayamkottai, by name A.Thankanadan, S/o.Appavu(C.P.No. 667825) aged about 69 years, as convict prisoner for taking further treatment for his illness of KIMS Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram, based on the petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2025.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.06.2025 has been considered and the same has been rejected by the Superintendent of Prison, Palayankottai, vide order dated 20.06.2025.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the rejection order, if so adviced.
