Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India,to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09/08/2017 and thereby direct the 1st respondent to pay the terminal benefits namely CPS(Contributory Pension Scheme) and SPF, to the petitioner within the time stipulated by this Honourable Court.
ORDER:- This Writ Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.P.T.Thiraviam Government Advocate for the respondent No. 1,2 and 4 and Mr.P.Gunasekaran Advocate for the 3rd respondent and the petitioner not appeared either in person or by an Advocate this Court made the following order:
This writ petition was filed by one V.t.Dharmarajan, a Bill Collector, Batalagundu Panchayat, Dindigul that even after his retirement on 31.05.2016, he has not received any retirement benefits and contributory pension from the respondents. This writ petition was disposed of by this Court on 18.11.2021, with a direction to the respondents to settle the terminal benefits to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks and to report the compliance. 2.Today(05.11.2024), this writ petition is listed under the caption ''for reporting compliance''. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents by referring a proceedings of the Special Officer of Batalagundu
Panchayat's Office, Dindigul, dated 05.11.2024 submits that all the terminal benefits have been settled to the petitioner.
3. Recording the submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed.
