O RDER This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.19 of 2023 and file the final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.It is submitted by the learned counsel that on a complaint given by the petitioner/defacto complainant, the police have registered a case in Crime No.19 of 2023 on 29.03.2023. However, there is no substantial progress in the investigation and therefore, sought for suitable directions. 3.According to the petitioner, the Mumbai police came to the petitioner's house on 14.02.2019 and trespassed into the house of the petitioner and has snatched away the gold, basing on which, on a complaint being referred by the learned Magistrate, the case has been registered against the accused Nos.2 to 5 for the offences punishable under Sections 166A IPC and for the offences punishable under Sections 384, 343, 323 and 506(i) IPC against the accused No.1. 2/5

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that the petitioner is involved in an offence under Section 379 IPC at Mumbai and accordingly, the case has been registered against him. It is submitted further that the investigation is in progress and within short time, the police will complete the enquiry and file the charge sheet. The same is recorded. 5.Accordingly, this Petition is disposed of directing the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the charge sheet before the concerned Court as quickly as possible, not later than 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
