The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to direct the third respondent to cancel the patta that stands in the name of his late brother Chetty in Patta No.82 in Old S.No.10 in New S.No.56/42, to an extent of 0.0.90 sq.mtrs and consequently direct the third respondent to issue joint patta in the name of the Petitioner and his siblings in view of the earlier patta stood in Petitioner's mother's name at Puthupattinam Village,Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District by considering his representation, dated 10.06.2025. 2.MrD.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the Petitioner, the subject property originally belonged to the Petitioner's father Ponniah. After his death, patta for the subject property was issued in the name of Petitioner's mother Ilanjiyam Ammal. After her death, patta was wrongly issued in the name of Petitioner's brother excluding the other legal heirs of Ponniah. Therefore the Petitioner submitted the instant representation on 10.6.2025 seeking cancellation of exclusive patta issued in the name of Petitioner's brother and to issue joint patta including the name of the Petitioner and his siblings. The same has not been considered till date. Hence the Petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra. 4.Mr.D.S.
Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the Petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 10.06.

6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
