ORDER
It is noted that, by virtue of the impugned order, the respondent has not proceeded further with the enquiry. As a consequence of the interim order, dated 27.03.2018, the fit person appointed on 07.02.2018 in place of the respective petitioners have also not been able to function. The allegation against the petitioners warrant proper enquiry.
2. Considering the same, I am inclined to dispose these writ petitions by directing the Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department to complete the enquiry within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is needless to state that before passing such order, both the petitioners shall be heard and will be entitled to bring all evidence that are required to this and then from the allegations of theft of idols, which were kept in the strong room of the Arulmigu Pasupatheeswarar Thirukoil, Pandanallur, Thanjavur District. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
