PRAYER: Writ Petition are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to carry out the orders passed by the District Revenue Officer, Pudukkkotai in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.B3/2516/96 dated 29.07.1996 confirming the order of the Assistant Settlement Officer, Thanjavur in his proceedings in Me.Mu.52/Natham/Pudukkottai/E4/94 dated 30.11.1995 in respect of the property in Natham S.F.No.101/8A, New No.101/20 of Theverpattikaudiyeri Village, Thanthani, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District within a time stipulated by this Court by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2018. 1/5

ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition to direct the second respondent to carry out the orders passed by the District Revenue Officer, Pudukkkotai vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.B3/2516/96 dated 29.07.1996 confirming the order of the Assistant Settlement Officer, Thanjavur in proceedings in Me.Mu.52/Natham/Pudukkottai/E4/94 dated 30.11.1995 in respect of the property in Natham S.F.No.101/8A, New No.101/20 of Theverpattikaudiyeri Village, Thanthani, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District within a time stipulated by this Court by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2018. 2.It appears that the petitioner has sent several representations to the respondents as detailed below:

3.It appears that the aforesaid representations have not evoke any response, even though the petitioner has secured favourable order from the District Revenue Officer on 29.07.1996 through proceedings in Na.Ka..B3/2516/96 and from the Assistant Settlement Officer on 3011.1995 vide proceedings in Me.Mu.52/Natham/Pudukkottai/E4/94. 4.I see no impediment in allowing this writ petition as the suit filed against the petitioner by one Chandra in O.S.No.55 of 1997 has been dismissed by the District Munsif Court, Aranthangi on 28.04.2000. 5.In this circumstance, I direct the petitioner to file a fresh representation to the second respondent. The second respondent shall scrutinize the same and pass appropriate orders to implement the order of Assistant Settlement Officer dated 30.11.1995 vide proceedings in Me.Mu.52/Natham/Pudukkottai/E4/94 and that of the District Revenue Officer in Na.Ka..B3/2516/96, dated 29.07.1996 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to state that the second respondent shall also issue notice to the said 3/5
Chandra and ascertain whether the judgment and decree in O.S.No.55 of 1997 dated 28.04.2000 has been reversed or not by the Appellate Court. 6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
