ORDER
When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent has filed a counter affidavit, wherein paragraph 5 reads as follows:- "5. I submit that the Joint Commissioner/Executive Officer, H.R. & C.E. Department, Arulmigu Meenakshi Sundereshwarar Temple, Madurai by his letter in Na.Ka. No. 339/2004/E2 dated 01.12.2021, had specified the names of the above 14 allottees for the allotment of shops in the Multilevel Car Parking by auction. I submit that only the name of the 1st petitioner Mr. Suresh Babu was specified in the letter dated 01.12.2021 by the Joint Commissioner/Executive Officer, H.R. & C.E. Department for allotment of shops. I submit that the 1st petitioner failed to participate in the auction conducted on 24.01.
2022 and did not submit any bank draft and hence he was not allotted any shop. Further, I submit that the names of the 2nd to 5th petitioners were not specified in the letter dated 01.12.2021 by the Joint Commissioner/ Executive Officer, H.R. & C.E. Department for allotment of shops.
2. In the light of the above, the petitioner's request cannot be acceded and therefore, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 26.11.2025 NCC :yes/No Index :yes/No Internet:yes/No rgm To
