CMP.(MD)No.7864 of 2026 in WA.(MD)SR.No.42266 of 2026 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J and R. SAKTHIVEL, J This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 151 days in filing the Writ Appeal against the order dated 12.12.2025 made in W.P(MD)No. 7183 of 2025.

2.Notice had been directed and the first respondent has also filed a Caveat. Unfortunately the learned counsel for caveator/first respondent is not present. However, the learned counsel would be heard before any orders are passed in the miscellaneous petition seeking stay.

3.In the affidavit filed in support of this petition, it is stated that the order copy had been communicated to the appellant and thereafter the consultations had to be made and necessary administrative sanction had to be obtained and there has been delay in the said process.

4.Taking the above stated facts into consideration, the delay stands condoned and this petition is allowed. The Registry is directed to number the appeal if it is otherwise in order and post it for admission. When the matter is listed for admission, the name of the learned counsel for the caveator/first respondent to be printed in the cause list.
