O R D E R

This petition is filed by the petitioner to quash FIR in Crime No.129 of 2022 on the file of the first petitioner.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl side) for the first respondent would submit that they already filed Final Report before SubCourt, Thoothukudi and the case is pending before the Assistant Sessions Judge, Ottapidaram.

3. The prayer sought for in this petition is to quash the FIR in Crime No.129 of 2022 for the offence under Sections 147, 294(b), 307 and 506(2) of IPC. But, the first respondent, after completing the investigation, filed Final Report and thereafter, the case was taken cognizance by the Sessions Court, Thoothukudi in SC.No.267 of 2024. Even as per the FIR, there are some allegations to constitute the offence as Page No. 2 of 4

against the petitioner. Hence, it is for the petitioners to challenge the Final Report filed by the first respondent, if she is aggrieved.

4. In view of the same, by preserving the liberty of the petitioner to challenge the Final Report in the manner known to law, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
