This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for quashing the FIR in Crime No.16 of 2021 registered on the file of the Inspector of Police, Rajapalayam.
2. The third respondent Muthulakshmi is the de-facto complainant. It is a matrimonial complaint.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the final report has been almost made ready. They are waiting for issuance of the Community Certificate for filing the final report.
4. In view of the same, the first respondent is directed to file a final report within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The jurisdictional Court will take a call in the matter within a period of two weeks thereafter. All the contentions of the petitioners are left open. If the Court below takes cognizance of the offences against the petitioners, the petitioners can very well file a fresh petition on the same cause of action.
5. Giving liberty to the petitioners and direction to the first respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
