O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed to direct the respondents to produce the person or body of the detenu, namely, Jeba Jesvin S/o. Sahayaraj aged about 17 years and hand over his custody to the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's son Jeba Jesvin who is studying 12th Standard in Don Bosco School, Kalaiyarkovil, went missing from 30.06.2025 and finding that the efforts to trace the detenu went in vain, the petitioner lodged a complaint to the 2nd respondent/Police and based on the same, the police registered a case in Crime No.372 of 2025 for 'boy missing'. Finding that the respondents had not taken effective steps to trace out the detenu, the petitioner has filed this petition. 3.
Today, the detenu is produced before this Court. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detenu was traced at Velankanni.

We enquired the missing boy. He submitted that due to pressure in his education, he had left the home without informing his parents and later he had contacted his parents and had come back. He expressed his willingness to go along with his father/petitioner and accordingly, the custody of the detenu was handed over to the petitioner.
