Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to treat the petitioner as a Service Candidate for NEET-PG 2022 held on 21.05.2022 and to award him the additional weightage in marks granted to the Service Candidates in NEET-PG 2022 and consequently, permit him to attend the Counseling scheduled on 01.09.2022 with the incentive marks. ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to treat the petitioner as a Service Candidate for NEET-PG 2022 held on 21.05.2022 and to award him the additional weightage in marks granted to the Service Candidates in NEET-PG 2022 and consequently, permit him to attend the Counseling scheduled on 01.09.2022 with the incentive marks. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's claim to award incentive marks of 10% for his service in the Rural area has been granted by the Secretary, Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai, as he has been made eligible as the service candidate.
