PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 4th respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the land to an extent of 3 acres and 25 cents comprised in Old Natham Survey No.68/A, New Survey No.68A/1 of Samsigapuram Village, Rajapalayam Taluk, Virudhunagar District by conducting a fair and detailed enquiry pursuant to the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 20.08.2018, 17.10.2018 and 25.02.2019 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 4th respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the land to an extent of 3 acres and 25 cents comprised in Old Natham Survey No.68/A, New Survey No.68A/1 of Samsigapuram Village, Rajapalayam Taluk, Virudhunagar District by conducting a fair and detailed enquiry pursuant to the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 20.08.2018, 17.10.2018 and 25.02.2019.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is no more.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the representation given by the petitioner seeking for issuance of patta had already been rejected, since the subject matter is a water body. 4.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is closed.
