Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.06.2020 and to take appropriate action to grant Assignment House Site Patta in the petitioner's name for the above said property for an extent of 3 cents in Survey No.141, situated at Vadakku Veli Village, K.Kothampatti Post, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District in the light of the G.O.Ms. No.34 dated 23.01.2008 of the Revenue Department and by considering her un-objectionable possession of the above said property for more than 20 years.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner wants issuance of assignment patta. She has also given a representation on 01.06.2020.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate informed this Court that the petition mentioned survey number has been classified as water body in the revenue records.

4. Be that as it may, the third respondent cannot keep the petitioner's application pending. The learned Government Advocate states that the authorities will dispose of the petition mentioned representation on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Recording the said submission, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
