This petition has been filed to direct the learned Judge, Family Court, Trichy for early disposal of the petition in I.D.O.P.No. 672 of 2021, within the time stipulated by this Court. 1/5

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed I.D.O.P.No.48 of 2021 before the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Virudhunagar at Srivilliputhur. Thereafter, based on the petition filed by the respondent herein in Tr.CMP.No.375 of 2021, the above said I.D.O.P.No.48 of 2021 was transferred from the Principal District and Sessions Court, Virudhunagar at Srivilliputhur to the Family Court, Trichy and re-numbered as I.D.O.P.No.672 of 2021. He further submits that though mediation was conducted, there could not be any settlement between the petitioner and the respondent. Hence, it is necessary to dispose of I.D.O.P.No.672 of 2021 pending on the file of the Family Court, Trichy at the earliest possible time.

3.This Court considered the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and also perused the materials placed on record.

4.It is seen from the records that the petition in I.D.O.P.No. 48 of 2021 was originally filed before the Principal District and Sessions Court, Virudhunagar at Srivilliputhur and transferred to the Family Court Trichy and renumbered as I.D.O.P.No.672 of 2021 and the case is posted on 13.09.2022 for cross examination of PW 1. It is also seen that mediation conducted between the petitioner and the respondent has not been settled.

5.Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in this Civil Revision Petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this Civil Revision Petition with a direction to the learned Judge, Family Court, Trichy, to dispose of I.D.O.P.No.672 of 2021, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
