: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to remove the encroachment made in Yoganandhaswamy South Mutt Street, Ward NO.12, Madurai Corporation, Madurai and to restore the street to its original position of 20 feet width based on the representation of the petitioner dated 08.12.2020. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner made a representation on 08.12.2020 to the respondent No.2 bringing to the notice of encroachment said to have been made over the road vested with it. As no action is forthcoming, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this is a second round of litigation. Though on earlier occasion, on the representation made, action was taken, the encroachers have once again put up construction and occupied the road belonging to the respondent No.2.

W.P.(MD)No.19761 of 2020 3.Taking into consideration of the said submission, we call upon the respondent No.2 to look into the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
