Seeking Mandamus to conduct survey in the petitioner's land in Natham Old S.No.381/1, New. S.No.1418/14 in Sivalarkulam Village, Alangulam Taluk, Tirunelveli District, the petitioner has filed this writ petition in the year 2018. 2.Today(29.01.2024), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submits that on the objections of the respondents 3 to 8, they have not conducted the survey. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 3 to 8 submits that the issue has been amicably settled and they are not 2/4

having any objection to conduct the survey in the subject property. 4.Recording the submission made on either side, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the official respondents to conduct the survey within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event, if any objections, the survey officer shall conduct the enquiry as per Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923 and shall proceed further. No costs.
