ORDER

This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 12.07.2023 and 19.07.2023. 2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, there are disputes between the petitioner and his neighbour, by name Alwin Rani and on 09.07.2023, the said Alwin Rani and others stated to have trespassed into the petitioner's house and demolished the existing old compound wall and have stolen the blue metal stones in the compound wall worth about Rs.20,000/-. It is also alleged that in spite of a compliant given by the petitioner, the police are not initiating any action.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the police have registered the complaint of the petitioner as C.P.No.P2/2404/2023 and the police have initiated enquiry and when the enquiry was posted to 24.07.2023, the petitioner failed to attend, thereby, they could not complete the enquiry. 2/5

4.Since the allegations levelled against the neighbourers by the petitioner as per the representation dated 12.07.2023 appear that the neighbourers have committed the cognizable offence, the petitioner is directed to appear before the police for enquiry and the respondent police are directed to complete the enquiry and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 12.07.2023 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Petition is disposed of.
