O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] This writ petition has been instituted seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 8 to forthwith shutdown and remove the recreation club, namely, "A1 Recreation Club", situated at Survey No.264/2A, Old Kinatru Street, Abiramam Town, Ramanathapuram District and to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2025.
2. With reference to the relief sought for in this writ petition, learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, 5, 7 & 8 produced a copy of the written instructions, dated 14.07.2025, received from the District Collector, Ramanathapuram, before this Court. In the said written instructions, the District Collector has stated that no application has
been received from the tenth respondent sofar seeking FL-2 licence to run a foreign liquor retail shop.
3. Since no application has been received from the tenth respondent sofar, the question of granting the relief as such sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition does arise at all and the same is, therefore, dismissed. No costs.
