O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents Police not to harass the petitioner basing on a complaint given by the unofficial respondent.
2. According to the petitioner, the respondent No.4 has met with an accident during the month of December 2020 and filed a complaint on 27.06.2022. Thereafter, the said complaint was closed on account of compromise arrived between the petitioner and the other rival parties. Subsequently, the respondent No.4 has made a complaint and that was enquired into and closed on account of settlement between the parties. Finally, the respondent No.4 has sent one more application dated 27.02.2023 and the same is pending before the respondents Police.
3. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondents Police submits that the respondents Police will initiate enquiry and close the same shortly by giving notice to the parties concerned.
4. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the respondent No.4 has been in the habit of making the complaint, on account of which, the 2/4
Police are harassing the petitioner.
5. Considering the circumstances, the respondents Police are directed to enquire into the complaint given by the fourth respondent by following due process of law and close the same as quickly as possible.
