Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents.

2. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

3. The petitioner wants this Court to direct the authorities to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the petition mentioned temple festival.

4. I have already held that permission is not required from the authorities for conducting the temple festivals in villages. If the petitioner is apprehending interference at the hands of the private respondents, his remedy is to go before the jurisdictional civil Court. No relief can be granted in the writ proceedings.

5. This writ petition stands dismissed with the aforesaid liberty. No costs.
