ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the first respondent to settle the amount due to the petitioner under policy No. 324290676 in claim No.16011497 with interest.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the claim of the petitioner has already been rejected by the communication of the respondents dated 04.04.2017 and the same rejection order is under challenge before this Court in WP(MD)No.20852 of 2018.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has now become infructuous. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
