COMMON ORDER The petitioner made petitions for removal of encroachments made by the encroachers from the properties belonging to the petitioner Aadheenam. Since no action was taken, the petitioner is before this Court.

2.Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent department. In view of the order going to be passed hereunder, no notice is required to the remaining respondents.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader represented that the respondents 1 and 2 have taken earnest steps to carry out the removal of encroachments. He would further submit that the petitions submitted by the petitioner have been returned and if the petitioner represents the petitions under Sections 78 and 79 of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959, the first respondent shall take immediate action.

4.Considering the aforesaid representation made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the petitioner is directed to represent the petitions, after rectifying the defects, to the first respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such representation, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders within a period of two months thereafter.

5.The writ petitions are disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
