ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the Charge Sheet in STC.No.1503 of 2016 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Kovilpatti in Crime No.180 of 2016, dated 18.04.2016 on the file of the 1st respondent police for the alleged offences U/s. 143, 188 and 285 of IPC and Section 74 of TNCP Act.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent police would submit that the trial Court viz., Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kovilpatti, by an order dated 25.10.2021 has stopped the further proceedings of 258 Cr.P.C., and the copy has also been despatched.

3. Since the proceeding has been closed nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition.
