PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying this Court to call for the records and quash the first Information Report in Crime No.1192 of 2020 registered for offences under Section 294(b), 420, and 506(ii) of IPC on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kovilpatti West Police Station, Thoothukudi District as against this petitioner.

ORDER

This petition is filed to quash the first Information Report in Crime No. 1192 of 2020.

2.On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the FIR was already closed as 'mistake of fact'.

3.An online verification of the CCTNS portal reveals that the case was closed as 'mistake of fact'.

4.In view of the submission made by the petitioner and since FIR was already closed, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No Costs.
