ORDER
This writ petition is filed for the following relief : "To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 05/10/2017 to release payment of a sum of Rs.32,78,426.21/- (Rupees Thirty Two Lakhs Seventy Eight Thousand Four Hundred Twenty Six and paise Twenty One only) calculated till 28/02/2017."
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner company entered into two wind energy purchase agreements, dated 30.09.2010 and 07.10.2010 with Tamil Nadu Electricity Board. As per Clause 6 of the
said agreements, the petitioner duly raised the bills and submitted to the TNEB for payment. Despite the delay in paying the bill, TNEB failed to pay the interest over delayed payment. Hence, the petitioner sent several representations requesting for payment of agreed interest. Due to the inaction of the respondents, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Without going into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.10.2017 and pass appropriate orders after giving due opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
