This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to take appropriate action upon the complaint given by the petitioner dated 07.03.2022 sent through registered post with acknowledgement cards to the respondents.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), appearing for the respondent police.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl. side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner gave a complaint against his brother's family and there is a dispute between them. He further submitted that, with regard to the family properties, both the parties have given complaint. Since dispute between the parties pertaining to the family properties the 3rd respondent/Inspector of Police has referred the matter to the RDO, 2/5
Cheranmahadevi. He further submitted that, on both the parties the 3rd respondent/Inspector of Police has registered LIR No.63 of 2022 under Section 107 of Cr.P.C. on 19.07.2022 . The statement is recorded.
4. Recording the same, the 3rd respondent/Inspector of police is hereby directed to take suitable action based upon the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 07.03.2022, subject to the outcome of the RDO enquiry.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
