ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This Writ Petition was filed at the stage when the petitioner thought selection of new area for laying broad-gauge railway track

between the Thanjavur and Pattukottai, via Orathandu. 2.The learned counsel for the railways submits that the matter is pending consideration before the Railway Board for approval of the lay out and accordingly, it is yet to be finalised for laying broad-gauge Railway line.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the Railways, we find this Writ Petition to be premature at this stage and is dismissed accordingly, however, with liberty that if final lay out plan affects the petitioner or the public at large, then to file a fresh Writ Petition at that stage. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
