[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] The learned Special Government Pleader has produced the proceedings of the Chief Educational Officer, Tirunelveli, dated 28.08.2024, which discloses that the order dated 21.12.2023, made in W.A.(MD)No.2192 of 2023, has been complied with and approval has been granted.

2. In view of the same, the Contempt Petition is closed.

3. Considering the reputation of the Education Department in not paying salary to approved teachers for several years, which we have noticed in several other cases, we make use of this opportunity to direct the Department to pay all the monetary benefits that will be due to the teacher / L.Princeton Fernando, within a period of 12 weeks from today and file a compliance report to that effect in this Court.

4. Post the Contempt Petition on 22.11.2024 ''for reporting compliance''.
