O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to direct the third respondent to revoke the order of suspension of the petitioner by considering his representation dated 24.04.2025.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, pursuant to the registration of a criminal case against the petitioner, he was placed under suspension in the year 2018. Subsequently, the criminal case ended in an acquittal. Therefore, the petitioner now seeks to have his suspension revoked. The learned counsel further submitted that, although several grounds have been raised in the writ petition, it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2025, taking into account the fact that the petitioner has already been acquitted, on its own merits and in accordance with law, and to pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
