ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents Nos.1 and 2 to conduct peace committee meeting for construct the Vallaba Vinayagar Temple at Karuppattikadu, Peravoorani Taluk, Thanjavur District by the way of consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2018.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that to construct temple of Vallaba Vinayagar Temple at Karuppatiikadu, Peravoorani Taluk, Thanjavur District, there was a objection from the rival parties and therefore, he preferred a complaint on 19.02.2018 before the third respondent police. It is pending on the file of the third respondent without taking any action on the complaint. He further submitted that he requested the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.5735 of 2018 third respondent to refer the complaint before the Revenue Officials for conducting peace committee meeting between the parties. However, no action has been taken by the third respondent and hence, the petitioner filed the present petition seeking aforesaid relief. 3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submitted that on receipt of the complaint dated 19.02.2018, the third respondent referred the complaint before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pattukottai to conduct peace meeting and on receipt of the same, Revenue Divisional Officer, Pattukottai issued summons to concerned parties to conduct peace committee meeting and it is pending. 4.
In view of the above submission, the prayer sought for by the petitioner was already considered by the third respondent and now the enquiry is pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pattukotttai. Under these circumstances, no further order is required in this petition. However, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pattukottai is directed to complete the process of enquiry on the peace committee meeting, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Registry is directed to mark a copy of this order to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pattukkottai, Thanjavur District.
