O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed by the brother of a mentally challenged person seeking a Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the request of disbursing the family pension of his mother based upon his representation, dated 22.03.2024.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent brought to the notice of this Court that the request of the writ petitioner was forwarded to the Accountant General Office and the said office had directed the writ petitioner to furnish certain Certificates and it was also communicated to the writ petitioner, on 09.05.2024. Thereafter, the writ petitioner has not responded by furnishing the said Certificates and therefore, the question of issuing a Mandamus would not arise.

3. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the authorities with all the relevant records, which has been called for by the Accountant General Office, on 03.11.2021, a copy of which furnished to the writ petitioner today. On submission of those Certificates, the respondents 2/4

are directed to consider the request of the writ petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the Certificates.

4. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
