Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents.

The writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order dated 05.08.2019 in Ka.No.Se.Po/E.Ka/Thu/Va.Aa/Ko.Mu.Manu/No.35/19-20 passed by the second respondent and quash the same as illegal and for a consequential direction, directing the respondents to provide agricultural Electricity Service Connection to the petitioner's agricultural land situated in Survey No.299/12, Muthiyampalam Village, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District.
3. On 06.2.2019, this Court had directed the respondents to effect electricity service connection for agricultural purpose for the bore well situated in Survey No.299/12 in Muthiyampalayam Village, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District.
4. Today it is stated that when the officials went to the said survey number for inspection, there is no bore well in the said survey No.299/12 and therefore, direction could not be complied with. The second respondent has also filed a counter affidavit and the same has gone to this fact and further, communication to that effect dated 03.01.2020 was also sent to the petitioner.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioner also admitted that there is no such bore well in the said survey number.
6. Recording the same, the writ petition is dismissed. No Costs.
