Respondents PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to execute the warrant issued by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pudukottai in S.T.C.No.203 of 2016, dated 17.12.2020, 21.10.2020 within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The present petition is filed to issue direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to execute the warrant issued by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pudukottai in S.T.C.No.203 of 2016. 2.Heard Mr.P.Banuprasath, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. 3.The petitioner has filed a private complaint under Section 200 Cr.P.C., before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangudi, for the offences punishable under Sections 138 and 142 of Negotiable Instruments Act and the case was transferred to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Pudukottai on point of Jurisdiction. Since the accused did not appear before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Pudukottai, a 'Bailable Warrant' was issued on 13.10.2017. The main grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent police has not executed the warrant till date.

4.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the respondent police is directed to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD).No.15996 of 2020 execute the warrant within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
