ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a mandamus directing the respondent to enhance 15% of rent, on basic rent fixed for the period from 01.04.2013 to 31.03.2016, for the remaining period of 6 years upto 31.03.2022 to shop Nos.498-499 at V.E.Road, Tuticorin, based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.11.2017. 2.When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner and it is reported that the learned counsel for the petitioner is no more.
3.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent, based on a written instructions, submits that the rent has been subsequently revised on the request of the petitioner as Rs.9,710/- and the petitioner has also agreed for this revised rent and he is also paying the rent regularly.
4. Recording the submissions of the learned Standing Counsel, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
