Abdul Kader instead of petitioner's father Ganapathiyapillai and consequentially for a direction directing the fourth respondent to provide the Sub Division Patta Transfer in the name of petitioner pursuant to the application vide Application No. 2023/0105/23/211884 dated 28.02.2023 with respect to the property comprising in Survey No. 73/13, measuring 195.09 sq.m situated at Somanathamangalam Village, Kalaiyar Kovil, Sivagangai District within the time stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner with a grievance that the revenue records for the land in Survey Number 73/13, measuring to an extent of 195.09 sq.mtr, situated at Somanathamangalam Village, Kalaiyar Kovil, Sivagangai District has been wrongly mutated in favour of the third party has approached the Revenue Divisional Officer on 28.02.2023 and has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus, directing the Revenue Divisional Officer to dispose of the petitioner's application within a stipulated time.

2.Mr.G.V.Vairam Santhosh, learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions submits that based on the application of the petitioner, the Revenue Divisional Officer has already directed the Tahsildar to conduct an enquiry and to submit a report, and based on the report of the Tahsildar, decision would be taken by the Revenue Divisional Officer.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sivagangai/the third respondent herein to conclude enquiry on the petitioner's application within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
