Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to issue patta to the petitioner in respect of the petitioner's property at Madurai District, Madurai North Taluk, Thiruppalai Group, Sirudhur Village, Nanja Land in Old Patta No.671, Re Survey No.240/4, UDR Survey No.94/4A, to an extent of 34 cents (13.50 Hectares), the western part from the total extent of 68 cents by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.11.2020. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 10.11.2020 and to issue patta in her name with respect to the subject property.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the third respondent has already entertained the application submitted by the petitioner and has sought for all the relevant documents in order to take a decision on the application submitted by the petitioner. W.P(MD)No.19904 of 2020 instructions received by the learned Additional Government Pleader was also circulated at the time of hearing.

3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the application made by the petitioner is under consideration before the third respondent, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit all the relevant documents before the third respondent and the third respondent shall take a decision strictly in accordance with law within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

4. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No Costs.
