ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the first respondent to direct the third respondent herein not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry based on the fourth respondent's irrelevant complaint.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the brother of the fourth respondent; that the fourth respondent had eloped with a lady and left the family; that thereafter, the petitioner's father has settled the property in favour of the petitioner as well as the legal heirs of the fourth respondent, since he was not available at that time; that thereafter, the fourth respondent returned back and lodged a false complaint and on that basis, the respondent police has been harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the fourth respondent current paper was issued in C.No.U/128742/24; that since the complaint given to the Chief Minister cell was forwarded to the third 2/4

respondent, the same is pending before the third respondent and that they have decided to close the matter as civil dispute.
