ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to cancel the distortion document, ted 10.12.2016, forthwith based on the Petitioner's complaint/representation, dated 12.12.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.The second respondent being the Registering Authority, has no power or jurisdiction to cancel the distortion document, dated 10.12.2018 registered by the first respondent. Therefore the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition cannot be granted and as such, the Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed. 4.Accordingly this Writ Petition is dismissed. However, the Petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent Civil Court to cancel the distortion document, dated 10.12.2016, in the manner known to law, if so advised. There shall be no order as to costs. 19.12.2024 2/4
