Heard the learned Senior counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

2. This criminal original petition has been filed seeking transfer of investigation in Crime No.1194 of 2019 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Thallakulam police station, Madurai City. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. The learned Senior counsel pointed out that though a direction was given as early as on 27.11.2019 in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.17646 of 2019 to conclude the investigation and file final report within eight weeks, till date nothing has been done.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation has already been transferred to the Central Crime Branch, Madurai City.

5. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
