ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.1633 of 2018 on the file of the Thallakulam Police Station, Madurai City, within the time limit that may be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in this case. The case has been registered on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner in Crime No.1633 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Section 420 IPC.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that since suspected persons are residing in North India, they are not in a position to secure them.

4.It appears that there is no progress even after a lapse of three years. Let earnest steps be taken by the respondent herein and file a final report after completing the investigation within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing the final report compliance report must be submitted to the Registry.
