ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to dispose of his un-numbered appeal filed before the first respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the properties in Survey Nos.265/2, 268/1, 278/2, 267/4, 305/2, 300 situated at Melamaruthur Village of Ottapidaram Taluk, Thoothukudi District. The said property was originally purchased by the petitioner's father. Recently, the petitioner came to know that some third parties names are included in the revenue records pertains to the subject property. Hence the petitioner submitted a representation before the first respondent on 26.05.2025, seeking deletion of the names of the third parties and restoration of patta in the name of the petitioner's father. The said representation has not been considered. Hence the petitioner has come before this Court.

3. Learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

4. In view of the same without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.05.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the persons in whose name patta stands as on today.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
