Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the District High Level Committee constituted under G.O.(2D) No.15 dated 01.03.2024 issued by the Municipal Administration Department in Madurai under the Chairmanship of the 3rd respondent herein to take appropriate action against the Unauthorized construction made by the 7th & 8th Respondent here in Fathima Hospital and Aysha Fertility Centre at Door No.26 and 28 (Town Survey No.201) Near Santhaipettai, Solavanthan Road, Tirumangalam Town and Taluk, Madurai. 2/6

O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The writ on hand has been instituted to direct the District High Level Committee constituted under G.O.(2D) No.15, dated 01.03.2024 issued by the Municipal Administration Department, Madurai under the Chairmanship of the third respondent herein to take appropriate action against the unauthorized construction made by the respondents 7 and 8. 2.The general relief as such sought for in the present writ petition is not entertainable. The committee constituted by the Government to initiate action against the unauthorized construction is admittedly functioning. Therefore, in the event of any complaint, the committee has to initiate appropriate actions.

3.The petitioner is at liberty to approach the committee. In the event of any such approach, the committee shall look into the complaint and shall initiate all appropriate actions.
4.With the above observations, the writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
