PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to take appropriate action based on the representation made by the petitioner dated 16.04.2023.

This petition is filed seeking for a direction to respondent No.2 Police to take steps basing on the representation dated 16.04.2023.

2. According to the learned counsel, the petitioner has given a complaint on 16.04.2023 against her husband and though the same was 1/4

registered as C.S.R.No.210 of 2023, no action has been taken against her husband and others, hence, sought for suitable directions.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on the other hand, submits that, during the course of enquiry in C.S.R.No.210 of 2023, both the petitioner and her husband appeared before the Police on 01.06.2023, reported that they would live amicably and the petitioner has given an undertaking in her own writing and withdrawn the complaint, thereby, respondent Police have closed C.S.R.No.210 of 2023.

4. Since the representation dated 16.04.2023 has already been closed, no further orders can be passed in this petition.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition becomes infructuous and dismissed. No costs.
