COMMON ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The matter is pending from 2021 onwards. As a last chance, the matter was referred to mediation and the parties were directed to appear before the centre on 17.08.2022.

In Crl.O.P.(MD) No.16174 of 2021 2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that even though the petitioners appeared before the mediation centre, there were difference of opinion. Therefore, it could not be settled.

3.The matter cannot be kept pending for very long time. Considering the fact that the matter is pending before the mediation centre, this matter can be disposed of with a direction to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to this Bench to expedite the mediation process and complete the same within a period of three months from today. After completing the mediation process, the report of the same may be forwarded to the concerned Magistrate and to the respondent police, since only enquiry is undertaking by the respondent police. Since no case has been registered against the petitioners so far and no settlement is reached between the parties so far, these petitions are disposed of accordingly. The petitioners can workout their remedy in accordance with law, if any trouble arises during the course of enquiry and if the mediation process fails.
